Privacy Policy

Summary in plain language

Rubly teaches simple, relaxing home massage through video lessons. We still keep as little as we can: your progress, favorites, streak and quiz answers live only in your browser or on your device — clearing site data or deleting the app deletes them, and we can’t read them because there is no server holding them. There is no password to create. The one thing we do keep is your email address, because that is how a subscription follows you from the website into the app.

Signing in

If you subscribed on this website and want to use the iOS app, you enter the same email address and we send you a one-time link that unlocks the app on that device. There is no password, and the link expires after 30 minutes. The app then stores a sign-in token on your device and asks us, from time to time, whether the subscription for that address is still active — the answer is just yes or no. You can sign out at any time from the app’s profile screen, which deletes that token.

Email (optional)

If you enter your email in the onboarding (to receive your ritual plan) or at checkout (for your receipt and trial reminder), we use it exactly for that: sending your plan, receipts, and a reminder before your trial ends. We don’t sell it or share it for advertising, and every non-transactional email has an unsubscribe link. Emails are delivered by our email provider acting as a processor.

Payments

Web subscriptions are processed by Stripe; iOS purchases by Apple. We never see or store your card details. We receive subscription status (e.g. trialing, active) to unlock your access, and Stripe acts as its own controller for payment data under its privacy policy.

Advertising measurement

When our ads bring you to the site, we may use Meta Pixel to measure that the ad worked (page views, funnel steps, checkout, purchase). These events don’t include your quiz answers or email. The iOS app may use AppsFlyer for the same ad-measurement purpose, only with your consent via the system tracking prompt. Magnus (below) also learns when a trial or subscription starts, renews, is cancelled or refunded, and on the website receives the same Meta click and browser identifiers as the pixel, so we can tell which ads pay for themselves.

Product analytics

To understand where people get stuck, we use PostHog to record which screens are opened and which steps of the onboarding are completed, on the website and in the app. This includes session recordings — a reconstruction of taps, scrolling and navigation. Text you type is masked in those recordings, and payment pages are handled by Stripe, outside them. If you have signed in, these events are linked to your email address so that your visit to the website and your use of the app are recognised as the same person rather than two strangers. Data is stored on PostHog’s European servers, acting as our processor.

Alongside PostHog we use Magnus, an analytics and subscription-measurement service, on the website and in the app. It receives the same kind of events — pages and screens opened, onboarding steps, checkout started, purchase — together with a randomly generated device identifier, your country, device and browser details and, for purchases, the transaction id and subscription status. It never receives your name, email, quiz answers or what you type. Magnus is operated by [MAGNUS LEGAL ENTITY] and stores this data in [COUNTRY], on the basis of [SCC / adequacy]; it also lets us pick which version of a page or paywall you see.

What we don’t do

No selling of personal data, no data brokers, no reading your progress on a server (there isn’t one for it), no third-party ad networks inside the lessons.

Your rights

Depending on your region (e.g. GDPR, CCPA, LGPD), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data we hold — practically: your email address, payment records held by Stripe, and analytics events tied to that address. Write to contact@amazekid.net and we’ll handle it, including deleting your analytics history. Local data stays under your control — clear your browser’s site data or delete the app.

Changes

Material changes to this policy will be posted here with a new effective date.
